![]() ![]() “That’s not cEDH” because it’s not a “database deck” or something like that. ![]() There’s a decent amount of gatekeeping around cEDH. I’m writing about my process and sharing some ideas I hope will offer new perspectives. I assume if you’re looking for a tournament-winning cEDH deck, you’ll look for cEDH tournament results. This isn’t a strategy column and this isn’t a strategy site. That means the articles are snapshots of an early time in my process, and the decks I write about are weak.Īn aside on that. It's almost unfathomable to think that your opponents will be able to put a stop to every one of your win con options, there are just too many to manage! This is what makes Selvala able to compete with some of the top decks in the format despite its limitations as a mono colored deck.I usually get excited about a new idea and then write an article about it, then move on to playing with it and iterating on it. Make sure you have some artifact removal like Nature's Claim in the graveyard.ģ. Play all your nonland permanents, including Memory Jar and Scroll Rack.Ģ. There is a third option, but it's a little more complicated so I will lay out the steps for it below:ġ. If that doesn't work out you can do an infinite Beast Within loop by flickering Eternal Witness / Skullwinder. With Concordant Crossroads in play, all you need is an infinite pump dump like Great Oak Gaurdian to kill off the table. Finally, the last step is to perform a kill loop, this can be done in several different ways. ![]()
